Barrie lives in North Wales in Snowdonia National Park. He has been a professional
photographer for twenty years and is widely regarded as the leading photographer
of nature books for children with over eighty books published, most of which
have been translated into several different languages. His work has appeared
in numerous publications worldwide and he travels extensively to add to his
ever growing photo library and nature archive.
He is always seeking the perfect shot, a never ending search. Hours, days,
weeks and even months of patience are often needed for some of his pictures.
